Which Roll Size for Your Sam4s?
Most Sam4s cash registers — the SPS530, ER180UDL, and NR500/510 — use 57×40mm thermal rolls. The Ellix series POS terminals use the larger 80×80mm size. If you’re unsure, check the roll compartment or consult the sticker on the base of your machine.

How to Change Rolls in a Sam4s Register
- Lift the printer cover on the top of the register
- Remove the empty roll core from the paper holder
- Place the new roll in the bay with paper feeding from below (thermal side facing up)
- Thread the paper through the slot and close the cover
- Tap the Feed button to advance the paper and confirm it’s feeding smoothly
